"Our initial analysis of the ruling suggests that the court issued an opinion on whether the European Council's decision complied with the EU laws, not on whether the PKK/KONGRA-GEL is a terrorist organization," the MFA spokesman said in a written response to a question.
"Allegations that the group was removed from the EU list were untrue," the spokesman said.
News that the PKK was taken off the EU terrorism list caused furor in Ankara with opposition parties demanding shelving relations with the EU.
Earlier the European Court of Justice ruled to exclude PKK from the list of terrorist organizations list
Council of the European Union announced that the recent decision concerning the terrorist organization, which carries out activities under the names of PKK, Kadek and Kongra-Gel, would not bring any changes to EU's list.
PKK is at the 25th place in the terrorist organizations list of EU and the European Court of Justice's decision would not change this listing, Council of the European Union said in a statement.
