Naval tenders for Moship and Ratship

The Undersecretariat of Defense Industry (SSM) of Turkey began the tender process for the procurement of a submarine rescue mother ship (Moship) and two rescue and towing ships (Ratship) for the Turkish navy.

Interested companies may be able to obtain files on the tender process from the Undersecretariat of Defense Industry until October 31, 2008.

Companies from Turkey, Israel, Britain, Canada, Italy, Korea, France and Scotland are expected to submit bids in the tender.

Several Turkish defense companies, including Aselsan, Havelsan, Aydin Yazilim, Meteksan, Selex Communication Company and Vestel defense industry, have already received their files on the tender.
