Turkey's budget deficit YTL 5.4 billion in four months

Turkey's budget deficit stood at 5.4 billion new Turkish liras (YTL) between January and April this year.

The Ministry of Finance announced budget figures for April and the period between term January and April on Tuesday.

According to the ministry, Turkey spent YTL79.2 billion from the budget between January and April. Budgetary revenues were YTL 64 billion during this period.

Turkey's non-interest surplus between January and April was YTL12.4 billion.
