PKK attacks, Turkey hits back killing 59

The PKK unleashed its violent attacks in Turkey killing four civilians and six soldiers while Turkish artillery and jet fighters hit back killing at least 59 PKK members and destroying the propaganda center of the militants.

The PKK terrorist organization laid landmines killing four civilians in the Sason district in southeastern Turkey and attacked a military outpost near the Hakkari border killing 6 soldiers.

The Turkish military retaliated with artillery strikes against the PKK hideouts in northern Iraq while the terrorist who attacked the military outpost were cornered as they fled back into northern Iraq and were destroyed by repeated air raids that continued into Monday.

Turkish fighters also destroyed the PKK propaganda center in northern Iraq which also served as the main broadcasting unit for Roj TV, the mouthpiece of the militant organization based in Denmark.

Meanwhile, the PEJAK, an affiliate of the PKK which is fighting inside Iran, came under attack by Iranian forces in northern Iraq, Kurdish sources reported.
