"Three Monkeys" at Cannes Film Festival

Turkish director Nuri Bilge Ceylan's latest film, "The Three Monkeys", will be screened on May 16 at the 61st International Cannes Film Festival and will run for the "Golden Palm" prize.

While the producer of the film was Zeyno Film-Zeynep Ozbatur, the film is a French-Italian joint production. The film's scenario was written by Ebru Ceylan, Ercan Kesal and Nuri Bilge Ceylan.

Yavuz Bingol, Hatice Aslan, Ahmet Rifat Sungar and Ercan Kesal are starring in "the Three Monkeys".

Among the Three Monkeys's competitors are Changeling (Clint Eastwood), The Palermo Shooting (Wim Wenders) and Adoration (Atom Egoyan).

The 61st Annual Cannes Film Festival will be held between May 14th and 25th, 2008.
