Istanbul to host foreign ministers of Pacific islands

Pacific Islands foreign ministers will convene in a meeting that will take place in Istanbul between April 9 and 11.

Turkish Foreign Minister Ali Babacan will host the meeting which aims to improve Turkey's relations with the countries in South Pacific region.

Foreign ministers of Pacific Islands Forum's sixteen member countries as well as Forum's Secretary General were invited to the meeting which will be held at Conrad Hotel.

Foreign ministers of Nauru, Vanuatu, Solomon Islands, Republic of Marshall Islands, Cook Islands, Tuvalu, Papua New Guinea, Palau, Fiji, Federated States of Micronesia and Samoa as well as undersecretary of foreign ministry of Tonga will attend the meeting.
