The number of foreign tourists who arrived in southern province of Antalya by air in the first eight months of 2007 has reached 6.3 million. "There are many reasons why foreign tourists prefer to spend their vacations in Antalya. Right prices and service of high quality, Turkish hospitality and natural beauties all attract foreign tourists. While the number of tourists coming from the European Union has not changed compared to last year (except Britain and Belgium), the number of tourists coming from the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) and Balkan countries has risen," Osman Ayik, chairman of the Mediterranean Touristic Hotels and Entrepreneurs Union (AKTOB), said on Monday.
