Foreign-based investors hold 71 pct of all shares at Istanbul Stock Exchange

The share of the foreign investors at the ?stanbul Stock Exchange (?MKB) reached 70.92 percent in the end of the last month. According to the data provided by the Central Registry Agency, the stock share of the foreign investors in ?MKB during the last month changed in between 56.52 and 58.24 percent. Foreign investors, who completed the month with 9.599.057.626 units of share and 58.24 percent stocks share corresponding to 70.92 percent market value, reached the highest number of shares of the last month yesterday.
In the given date, the foreign investors achieved to hold 66,203,118,502 dollars of market value, and thus the foreign investors reached the highest figure as well in terms of market value. The share of the foreign investors in the same period of last year stood at 65.11 percent level.
